Accountability, peace, and justice must be built one criminal at a time.
Hold onto your hats, folks, because the Durham report (link to full report) is finally making some waves, and it’s about time! What’s that, you ask? Oh, just a little investigation into the origins of the infamous Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy that was created out of whole cloth by the Hillary Clinton campaign. You know, the one that had us all glued to our screens for months on end like it was the latest Netflix true crime series.
Well, buckle up, buttercup, because John Durham, the U.S. attorney appointed by none other than Bill Barr, is finally dropping some truth bombs.
Remember how everyone and their mother was convinced that Trump was Putin’s puppet, and we’d find the smoking gun any day now? Yeah, well, turns out there might’ve been a few minor details that were glossed over in the mainstream media’s never-ending quest to take down the “Orange” Man.
The Durham report is exposing the fact that the whole “Russia-gate” narrative was built on a shaky foundation, to say the least. Misleading information, shoddy research, and downright dirty tricks have all come to light, making it seem like a twisted game of political Clue.
But hey, let’s not forget that this investigation has been dragging on longer than a Game of Thrones winter. So, while we’re all waiting with bated breath for the next bombshell to drop, let’s use this opportunity to demand some real accountability from our politicians and the media. After all, if there’s one thing we’ve learned from this whole ordeal, it’s that the truth has a funny way of coming out eventually.
Ironically, as we have had “conspiracy theorists” and “fake news” screamed at us for almost seven-years now, the New York Slimes and the WashiedUp Post won a couple of dozen of Pulitzer prizes between them for their reporting of this fake news. Will the exposed legacy media ever have any more legs to stand on after this debacle?
So, what can we do? Well, for starters, join me and keep asking questions, demanding transparency, and calling out BS when we see it. The political elite may think they can pull the wool over our eyes, but we’re not going to let them get away with it. We’ve got the power of social media, memes, and good old-fashioned skepticism on our side.
In the end, the Durham report might just be the spark that ignites a firestorm of change. And you know what they say – where there’s smoke, there’s fire. So let’s keep fanning the flames, folks. It’s time for some long-overdue justice.
In my opinion, the Republicans have been talking a good game, but they need to hear from their constituents to get off the pot and to get those proverbial heads figuratively rolling.
Cindy Lee Sheehan is an American anti-war activist, whose son, U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed by enemy action during the Iraq War. She attracted national and international media attention in August 2005 for her extended antiwar protest at a makeshift camp outside President George W. Bush’s Texas ranch—a stand that drew both passionate support and criticism. Sheehan ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 2008. She was a vocal critic of President Barack Obama’s foreign policy. Her memoir, Peace Mom: A Mother’s Journey Through Heartache to Activism, was published in 2006. In an interview with The Daily Beast in 2017, Sheehan continued to hold her critical views towards George W. Bush, while also criticizing the militarism of Donald Trump.
Sheehan was the 2012 vice-presidential nominee of the Peace and Freedom Party,[4] and received 1.2% of the statewide vote in the 2014 California gubernatorial election.
